Shizuka Yokomizo
In the foreground of this image I can see a man in his home, through a window that looks like there is no glass. The window has six rectangle holes ready for the glass to be put in place. I imagine this is his home because of the way he is dressed. He is standing in a white pair of shorts that are baggy and a grey jumper, the jumper is zipped up but not all the way, you can see that he has a brown t-shirt underneath. He has black, shot hair that goes in to the shape of a triangle at the front of his head. His eyebrows are very thin and hard to identify the left eyebrow seems to be more bold than the other sitting on the left. On his left arm he has the sleeve rolled up while he is holding a white wireless phone in his hand, it seems as if he is listening to the person on the phone as his mouth just lies in a small grin. His right arm rests behind his back, i think the sleeve on this arm is also rolled up because there is a crease going up to his shoulder and this usually indicates that the sleeve is rolled up. In the background you can see a white opened door to the left but cant see much through the door because the man is standing in-front of it. To the right you can see two photo frames hanging over the black framed bed that has no pillow and no quilt. The frame closet to the door has a picture of what looks like a field of corn. In the foreground it looks like there is a horse or some sort of animal with black fur, walking through the field. In the background there is trees and the sky in the picture is bright but cloudy. It looks like the sky when it is a windy day. The second photo

you can only see the frame that is a dark brown colour. The wallpaper sitting behind the frame is a dullish red that lays with an old fashioned look. It has a pattern that looks bumpy. Above that there is a lighter shade that is red with a hint of pink it has little, short, sharp lines. At the front of the photo, behind the window, there is a white thing that has curves at the bottom. At the bottom it is a brown with some dark and light streaks. This could be a cat but you can not see the face so it is hard to identify. This photo is a portrait however this portrait is very different to the "normal" portrait. Portraits are normally very simple and there is just a person usually you get a plain background and sometimes a little prop however in this portrait is very busy and has a lot of prop usage. This may upset some people because it may not be seen as a portrait in some peoples eyes because of it being different. For the process of making this photo I think Shizuka Yokomizo had to hire a room that was on the bottom floor and make some time to prepare the room and put all the props where she wants them to be. she would then have to set up the camera any possibly a stand for the camera to sit on while she sets the last few bits up in the place she wants them. This photo gives me very mixed feelings and vibes. This photo makes me feel a sense of warmth because it is similar to the wallpaper my great nan had in her house before she passed, this paper was in the party room where there was a darts board, an arcade cabinet, a bar and other things as well. This photo also makes me feel questionable because there is a few things in this photo that I am not sure what they are. I would like to meet Shizuka so i could ask her: what is the white and brown thing? What gave you the idea to make this photo? How did you create this photo?
My idea
For my idea i think i am going to use the stair rails as a barrier like the window. I might use some clothes or cloths or maybe both to create the busy scenario. I think i might do this in the dark but with a lamp to have the light on the person. I want to have a barrier like the window and i want to try create a busy scene. I might use the dark room because it is compacted.
My recreation
WWW:For this task i think i did well, i feel this matches Shizuka Yokomizo work to a certain degree, I know these are not identical to her work but i feel they are some what similar. I think i have done well on making a clutter around Marcia and made it a little questionable. i think people will question the clothes why they are outside.

EBI:I think my work could be better if i got more photos and if there was more of a barrier in-front of Marcia and if i could get more items to surround her it would be better.

My favourites
This photo went well because there was more space and its natural but i think it would be even better if i could off pushed the clothes in the box a bit more and get closer up. This then would off made it even better because it would look like a room. Next time i would like to use more props as well.

I like this photo because there is a lot going on but like Shizuka Yokomizo photo even though theres a lot going on you are immediately drawn to the person in the photo. Next time i might try to recreate this photo but put more clothes round the poll and possibly a bag at the bottom on the silver bit.
